50k (~10,200 ft. elevation gain)

Runners doing the 50K will start at Boiling Springs Campground, run up the FS road to the Silver Creek Lookout Tower, then back down, taking a right onto the ATV trail to FSR 671. When you get to the intersection with FSR 678 (about a mile before FSR 671), you will turn around and go directly back over to Boiling Springs without going to the Lookout Tower a second time. From Boiling Springs, you will head west on singletrack to the Skunk Creek Summit aid station and then turn around and go back down the way you came to finish at Boiling Springs. Final cutoff is the same as the 50 Mile at midnight on Saturday (18 hours).
