50k (~10,200 ft. elevation gain)

Runners doing the 50K will start at Boiling Springs Campground, run up an ATV trail and connect to the FS road to the Silver Creek Lookout Tower, then back down, taking a left onto the ATV trail to FSR 678. When you get to the intersection with FSR 678 (about a mile before FSR 671), you will turn around and go directly back over to Boiling Springs without going to the Lookout Tower a second time. From Boiling Springs, you will head west on singletrack to the Skunk Creek Summit aid station and then turn around and go back down to finish at Boiling Springs.

Cutoffs

• Mile 25.1: 8:45 pm at Skunk Creek Summit. You will need a headlamp if leaving Skunk Creek after 7:00 pm.
• There is no finish line cutoff.
